American Language Center (ALC) was established by the American Mission in 1968 and is Nepal’s oldest English language institution. For the past 50 years, ALC has been at the forefront of providing English language and communication instruction from native speakers. ALC's methodology emphasizes a wide range of English language skills to encourage fluency and situational competency — including general education courses, tailored business and communication trainings and conversational practice. To guarantee students have a one-stop center that meets their needs, ALC also offers personalized preparation for job and visa interviews and PTE, IELTS, TOEFL and SAT exams.
