The Association aims to promote the enhancement and protection of Intellectual Property both by companies active in the field of Intellectual Property and by entities active in the field of research and to contribute to the professional development of those who deal with Intellectual Property from the point of view of institutions and companies. In particular, it deals with: a) Study and promote specific initiatives aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of the protection and enhancement of Intellectual Property; b) Study and promote appropriate initiatives for the defense and development of the professionalism of the Members of the Association, including by organizing or contributing to the organization of meetings, conferences and seminars aimed at the foregoing; c) Enhance the professional representation functions at Italian and International Organizations operating in the field of Intellectual Property; d) Establish contacts and collaborations with similar Italian and International Organizations, to agree and develop initiatives of common interest; e) Establish contacts with Italian and International Public Authorities in order to present their views and proposals on Intellectual Property, collaborating with them in the implementation and enhancement of an adequate and efficient Intellectual Property protection system; f) Propose legislative and administrative reforms deemed appropriate in the field of Intellectual Property to the competent Italian and International Authorities and collaborate with them in the related implementation phase.
