Ningxia International Academy (NIA) is the first school in Ningxia to use Western teaching standards to provide a world-class education for both local and expat children. By employing overseas trained teachers combined with a curriculum designed to challenge students and prepare them to succeed in a globalized world, NIA is focused on building an educational institution that will stand the test of time. More importantly, the students who pass through NIA will have a variety of higher education opportunities when they graduate. NIA is cooperating with international educational institutions (both within and outside of China) to design an educational system that serves both local and expat students from kindergarten to university preparatory courses. NIA uses a dual tract language program in English and Chinese in the classrooms as it develops young leaders to be fluent in both languages so that they are prepared to succeed in a globalized world. Once the school is fully developed it will cover an area of nearly 30,000 square meters and enrollment will max out at 1050 students. The school enrolls each year in the spring and autumn. Enrollment is mainly for local and expat students in Ningxia and the surrounding provinces.
