The Industrial Assessment Center (IAC) at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, TN trains engineering students in energy efficiency, energy management, and energy conservation. Faculty and students conduct on-site assessments at manufacturing facilities to identify energy saving opportunities. This center was founded in 2006 and is a program of the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Manufacturing Office.
