Kendall Steven founder, began his 30-year career in the high-end jewelry trade at Boston University where he obtained a degree in geology and took classes at the Program in Artisanry. After graduation, he moved to New York and began a three-year tenure working at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a graduate gemologist in the colored stone and diamond departments. He continued to follow his passion by apprenticing with an old world European jeweler as well as a five year apprenticeship with William Klein. During the course of his 30 year career, Kendall began to engineer findings to complement the extraordinary jewelry he created and from that innovation, Legacy Findings was born.
