Talkingfashion Inc.
www.wearwhatyouloveeveryday.comWe started as a small eCommerce business, but we had big dreams. We wanted to change the way people thought about fashion, and make it more intergenerational, sustainable, and empowering. Soon after our eCommerce took off, we started adding special events to our marketing strategy, providing more opportunities to use fashion as a creative medium, celebrate individuality and promote talents from near and far. Since 2009, our popular special events have been featured on multiple media platforms including The Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Magazine, Columbus Underground, and more. Since 2017, we have been running educational programs in the community. We have served numerous for-profit and non-profit organizations in Columbus including the Columbus Museum of Art, Upper Arlington Schools, Upper Arlington Rec and Parks, and the Columbus Urban League. We practice sustainable fashion and support circular fashion practices in our classrooms. We continue evolving and plan on transforming the business again to better represent the social impact we have in our community. We partner and support numerous businesses with social, job training, equity and inclusion, community development, environmental and sustainability purpose; including Goodwill Columbus, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Columbus Fashion Alliance, ECDI to name a few. From sustainability to community building, we exist to empower people and the planet. Fashion is a language for all, and everyone should be fluent in the language and feel empowered to speak up!
