AIA Akron is a chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) which began in 1968. The Akron chapter is one of seven chapter territories that make up AIA Ohio. AIA Akron is comprised of architects, intern architects, students, industry professionals and community members from the surrounding area. The territory of this Chapter is the following eleven counties within the State of Ohio: Belmont, Carroll, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne.
