The University of Bristol’s Venues & Events team offers a wide choice of rooms, lecture theatres, and exhibition spaces to accommodate small meetings and large events of up to 800 delegates. We have venues in Stoke Bishop, elegant Clifton and in and around the University campus itself. We can offer facilities in historical and modern buildings with our largest tiered lecture theatre seating up to 444, and flat floored at 800 in the Great Hall in Wills Memorial Building. We can also offer smaller executive meeting spaces in unique buildings with excellent facilities including a variety of different catering options. Our experienced Events Coordinators can advise and organise your events from start to finish, including any catering, audio visual equipment, exhibition tables etc. As a filming location, the University offers a wide range of architectural styles and many acres of grounds; perfect for productions of any era. We can offer a wide range of group accommodation in Stoke Bishop, Clifton and Bristol city centre throughout the summer months for residential conferences, summer schools, leisure groups, residential workshops, sports groups and academic groups. Perfect venues for your big wedding day are available in the heart of Clifton, with beautiful gardens listed building and fabulous food. We work in partnership with Fosters Catering, who have over 50 years of experience in producing outstanding food with the highest level of service. The Orangery has a maximum capacity of 110 for a seated meal and 150 for a more informal standing buffet style meal.
