We are Overture International, a nonprofit established by individuals in both the US and Haiti to empower families living in extreme poverty through sustainable social, community and economic development. We are the catalyst for the work at ESPWA in the south of Haiti, a child development center that makes every attempt to keep children in the most natural and supportive environment possible – the family. For 22 years now, they've done this life-changing work. Together with ESPWA, we remain focused on developing children, families, and communities in southern Haiti – something no other organization is currently doing. Simply put, our belief is that job creation is the ultimate solution to combating the ongoing cycle of poverty that results in family separation, vulnerability to natural disasters, and a dependence on foreign aid.
