FactCheckNI is Northern Ireland’s first and only dedicated fact-checking service. We investigate claims and publishing articles on contemporary and contentious topics. It works to foster a culture of critical thinking within a deeply divided society, and has trained thousands of people in fact checking skills in the region. FactCheckNI is a verified signatory to the International Fact-Checking Network Code of Principles, with commitments to nonpartisanship, fairness, and transparency.
