It is with great sadness that we announce the closure of the NSW Kids in Need Foundation. NSW Kids in Need Foundation is now closed. Over the last eighteen months, our NSW Kids in Need Board has considered various options for future fundraising, but no viable way forward has been identified. Consequently, we've decided it's time to thank you, our supporters, and tell you that our fundraising has come to an end. Since 2015 the six children's charities have been an inspiration to us all. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them, with our volunteers and with you - our very generous supporters. Together we raised more than $750,000, which was divided equally between our six charities. It's a sad time for our team. Still, we know it's prudent to recognise the reality of the new fundraising environment, and we have the satisfaction that we've played a small part in helping the charities meet the ongoing demand for their vital services. Having put our public fundraising events on hold since early 2020, we've been very grateful some donors continued to support us. This month's distribution of a bit over $26,000 to our charities represents the remaining funds from those donations, and we know they'll be put to good use in these challenging times. Please continue supporting our six charities into the future. Finally, the NSW KiN Board wishes to thank all our supporters for being part of our fundraising adventure.
