The Center of Excellence in EU Studies (CEEUS) had been established at ADA University in January 2014 as part of the agreement between the European Commission and the Government of Azerbaijan. The CEEUS aspires to enrich the academic programs at ADA University with EU related topics, to offer education and training opportunities on EU related topics to wider community, to support research in EU matters and integration of ADA University faculty into European research networks. The Center also aims to increase general awareness of the EU among the Azerbaijani population. The mission of the Centre is to enhance academic relations between Azerbaijan and the EU and promote research in EU related topics among Azerbaijani scholars. The Centre contributes to establishment of academic dialog, development of platform for deepening knowledge and awareness of Azerbaijani society on EU Studies.
