I have over 25 years of IT experience, working for a wide variety of companies. I have a very strong technical background and am at ease learning new technologies. In the last 15 years, I have developed Business Intelligence applications for several clients. I have participated in all aspects of project development, from proofs of concept and project proposals to business analysis, requirements gathering, application development and testing, system documentation, mentoring, and user training. I am happy to work independently or in a team. I have participated in software installation and testing. I recently worked in an agile development environment. I have worked on Windows, UNIX and IBM Mainframe platforms with Information Builders WebFOCUS, including BI Portal, BI Dashboard, Managed Reporting, Report Caster and Developer Studio. I can install and deploy WebFOCUS software, migrate WebFOCUS environments, build portals, dashboards, parameter screens, charts and reports. I have a thorough knowledge of HTML and JavaScript and have found creative ways of incorporating jQuery and Highcharts into the WebFOCUS environment. I have comprehensive experience working with Oracle, DB2, MySQL and MS SQL Server, and some exposure to WebFOCUS Data Migrator, SAP, PeopleSoft, MS CRM 3, Java and JSP. I have also helped build several WordPress-based websites. I am the most active contributor on FocalPoint, an Information Builders online forum, helping many WebFOCUS developers solve business and technical problems. I have successfully worked as a contractor for the last 13 years and hope to continue.
