Innovative Imaging and Research (I2R) develops custom imaging and remote sensing solutions at all stages of the imaging process. From the design and construction of novel, innovative UAV imaging systems to camera calibration and post-acquisition image processing, I2R combines seasoned technical expertise with open and fresh perspectives to confront today’s most difficult imaging challenges for customers in the government, academia and private industry. Established in 2007, I2R’s founders, President Mary Pagnutti and Chief Technical Officer Dr. Robert Ryan, bring decades of experience in remote sensing, engineering and project management to lead I2R’s technical projects to successful completion. I2R employs a strong technical staff, with the majority holding a master’s degree or higher in subjects including mathematics, physics, and engineering. The ambition and dedication of the I2R’s founders and employees have enabled the company to operate on a self-funded basis since its founding. I2R’s current research and development projects include improving scientific high dynamic range sHDR imaging, pioneering inexpensive methods for low-light imaging, and developing imaging systems for nearshore monitoring.
