Duncan Quinn is arguably one of the handful of people responsible for the resurgence of men’s tailoring in the USA. His passion grew from the Savile Row suits his father gave him when he was in his late teens. Everything Duncan does is a reflection of his travels and experiences, his joy in learning new customs, places, methods and views and his sharp attention to detail, proportion, color and texture. His view has been formed by regular travels to Africa, India, Japan, Europe, South America and the Caribbean with Tokyo, Nice and St Barts being firm favourites. His love of beautiful machines and in particular motorcycles, cars and sailboats is also well documented. Clients have included everyone from gents getting married to rogues who front platinum selling rock bands and everyone in between. Duncan continues to garner the attention of interesting characters who attend the events and procure their attire at his stores in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. He is driven by a delight in making unique bespoke items and collections of pieces with a viewpoint that are made to the highest standards possible with the finest materials known to man. When he has a spare moment he likes nothing more than to sit and watch the world go by in the Cours Saleya, Nice, France.
