Poona Institute of Management is an educational institution started in the year 1990 with an aim of providing quality education in the field of Management and Information Technology. PIMSE offers a variety of valuable courses (Full time PG Programme) such as MBA, MBA – IT (Formerly Known as MCM), MBA – HRD (Formerly Known as MPM). PIMSE is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, approved by AICTE, New Delhi & DTE, Govt. of Maharashtra. The Institute follows Semester-wise Credit and Grading-System as per Savitribai Phule Pune University. The curriculum is executed not only through classroom teaching but also supported with various co-curricular as well as extra-curricular activities throughout the year. Believing that Knowledge is beyond curriculum, we conduct various practical-oriented Industry Expert sessions in the form of guest lectures, workshops, on the job training, seminars and conferences to meet employability challenges. Social activities are also conducted to imbibe sensitivity within the student’s towards social issues such as gender discrimination, environment and sustainability, human values and professional ethics etc. Faculty members utilizes a basket of content delivery methods, e-resources and ICT tools to enrich the learning experience of students. The institution’s 40% faculty is Ph.D. holders having a rich experience from varied backgrounds.
