The Bengal Glass Works Limited is a Public Limited Company incorporated in Dhaka in 1967 under the Companies Act. The factory is situated in Demra Industrial Area, Dhaka with its Head Office in Tejgaon, Dhaka. It is the only fully-automatic continuous process glass container & bulb shell manufacturing company in Bangladesh, certified by SGS as ISO 9001:2015, GMP and FSSC 22000 compliant. Its present annual glass bottle production capacity from two furnaces is 400 million glass bottles of various sizes with very fine specifications. These bottles cater mainly to the needs of the country's Pharmaceutical Industry for bottling their life saving drugs & medicines, as well the country's Food and Beverage industries. A third furnace allows the company to produce 130 million glass lamp shells per year of various designs for the electric lamp/bulb industry.
