SIT select is a not for profit arts organisation based in Stroud, Gloucestershire. We aim to deliver a high quality, innovative and inspiring programme of year round events with an annual festival every May and a new Select Showcase launching in Cheltenham October 2015. We focus on textiles while broadening out to include the applied arts and crafts. SIT select makes a significant contribution to the economic prosperity of the area by providing a unique focus for the contemporary applied arts bringing leading artists and designer/makers to the region. We also work with and support emerging talent encouraging artist-led activities. Known nationally and internationally for the innovative and excellence of our events and exhibitions We present a year round programme of exciting events while working alongside and collaborating with major artists and organisations to bring new work to the region.
