The Wireless Sensor Applied Research Centre (WiSAR) is a wireless and embedded systems group that provides electrical and electronic solutions for established companies and technology start-ups throughout Ireland. We increase company competitiveness through intelligent innovation applying wireless and embedded systems to real life sensor and networking challenges in consumer electronics, medical devices and industrial engineering. A core activity of WiSAR is the research, development and application of low power wireless sensor networks for the Internet of Things (IoT), Body Area Networks (BAN) and Machine to Machine (M2M) applications. The WiSAR Lab is a Strategic research Centre in the Atlantic Technological University and an Enterprise Ireland Technology Gateway. We are based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, Ireland.
