The Sanford Regional Economic Growth Council (SREGC) is a partnership of the City of Sanford, the Sanford-Springvale Chamber of Commerce and the Industrial Development Corporation of Sanford. This evolving organization is chartered to be the leading economic development organization in central York County and has embarked on an aggressive and cutting-edge strategy to increase the prosperity of its citizens and enhance the area's economy. Our goal is to facilitate the economic growth in the region, with a particular focus on new job creation. As such, we concentrate on assisting local businesses grow, recruiting new business to the region and facilitating new business formation. Our services are broad-based and include: site location assistance, providing comprehensive demographic and labor market information, financial packaging, connecting business clients to appropriate tax incentives, catalyzing inter-governmental relations and providing leadership in business advocacy and public policy issues such as infrastructure improvement and maximizing public and private investment in our region. When it comes to business and economic development we are the region’s “go to” resource.
