The real beaches behind the filters Ever visited a beach and the reality is far from the glassy blue waters on google images? Instead of soft, yellow sands we’re greeted with an array of colourful micro-plastics, like the coloured stones of a fish tank floor. Well, our friends Trubeach have developed a free app that allows you to highlight the true reality of our shorelines. You can post photos and write reviews on the current water and land conditions, and with over 750 beaches plotted on the map in North America, we can circulate the shabby, and not so shabby, state of our beloved beaches.
