Trustees Unlimited was created in 2009 as a joint venture bringing together the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO), Bates Wells and Russam. Its creation disrupted and shaped the trustee recruitment market and since 2014, it has disrupted the corporate trustee placement market with the creation of Step on board. Following a lengthy period of collaboration, in January 2020, Trustees Unlimited became a wholly owned part of the Russam group. The organisation continues to work closely with NCVO and Bates Wells across several areas including delivering services. Together, our mission is to promote and develop excellent governance across civil society. Trustees Unlimited is a founding UK BCorp.
