Hygiene for All (HFA) is a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit started by high school students Vignesh Sanagala and Sahan Yerram to improve healthcare conditions through educating and donating fundamental hygiene necessities to third world countries. After both students observed conditions in villages in India and heard about past experiences from their parents and grandparents, they realized the United States along with European nations have the ability to change the lifestyle and health conditions for lesser developed areas starting with India. Both realized by working with local communities across the U.S. and connecting with organizations serving the same cause in India such as IBHA, we can spread awareness on the current situation and provide further support to the ongoing cause. This will aid educating current students so the lives of future generations and the standard of living in underprivileged regions improve drastically. By continuing to supply these basic goods, we hope to empower the unfortunate to live cleaner, healthier lives.
