VA-REA convenes all key stakeholders in Virginia's renewable energy industry in order to advance development in the sector and collaborate on common goals. Our members represent the brightest renewable energy experts in Virginia. From the utility industry to developers, from engineers to associations and educational institutions, VA-REA offers tremendous opportunities for all branches of the renewable industry to connect and collaborate. Virginia's energy landscape is unique, diverse and ever-shifting in the wake of federal regulations and lower cost alternative energy resources. We seek to leverage the diverse interest and market knowledge of our members, to find solutions that: 1. Identify and close the gaps to renewable energy development through collaboration on targeted initiatives; 2. Serve as an authority and resource through public education; and 3.
