CEMAT is a consulting organization established in 1976 with the aim of providing multidisciplinary consulting services. The company today is recognized as one of the leading consulting agencies in Nepal with a sound track record of a large number of projects successfully executed. CEMAT is one of the promoters and an active member of Society of Consulting and Architectural Firms (SCAEF). In addition, CEMAT is also registered with international agencies such as: • Asian Development Bank (Manila) (ADB CMS No. 006390) • The World Bank • United Nations Development Program (UNDP) • International Labour Organization (ILO) • European Economic Committee (EEC)
 During the past 42 years of its professional history CEMAT has provided its services not only to the Government of Nepal and its affiliated agencies but also to most donor agencies in Nepal. The services of CEMAT have covered over 65 districts of Nepal and has also provided services in Japan, Bhutan, Timor-Leste (East Timor) and Afghanistan outside the boundaries of Nepal.
