September 2019 marked the 40th anniversary of Blank & McCune, The Real Estate Company, co-founded by Jackie Blank and Jane McCune. They were the first female broker-owners in the Iowa City area, and among very few in the nation, to break the mold of male ownership of real-estate firms. Beginning in 1979 Jackie and Jane exceeded all expectations.
