The Social Sciences Career Event (SCT) is a career event organized by students of the Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences(TSB), of Tilburg University. The five main study directions of the faculty are Human Resource Studies, Global Management of Social Issues, Organization Studies, Psychology and Sociology. The SCT aims to bring the 4500 students of the TSB closer to the labor market and come in contact with future employers. The goal of the SCT is therefore bilateral: one the one hand, it offers students the possibility to broaden their future perspective and to orient on the labor market, and on the other hand, it brings organizations in contact with the employees of the future. The SCT was established in 2015 under the name Social Business Days (SBD), and in 2018, the name was changed to Social Sciences Career Event, in order to provide a more accurate description of the event for students and organizations, and to make the event more approachable for international students.
