Seeking to put God’s love into action, Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Our nonprofit organization builds, renovates and repairs homes, as well as revitalizes neighborhoods, throughout Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Habitat homes are purchased by families at an affordable, zero-percent interest mortgage. Our homebuyers work side by side with volunteers to complete hundreds of hours of sweat equity through the building of their home, as well as complete finance and home maintenance classes. Through education, counseling, mentor support and affordable housing costs, families are put in a position for future success in homeownership. Ninety-five percent of our homeowner families are living in their Habitat homes today, and 67 percent of all Habitat homeowners increase their income.
