Our core business: Multilingual Institutional Translation Project Co-ordination. IDEST Communication SA is a translation agency specialised in EU and UN affairs at large providing services from and into all official languages of the European Union and beyond. IDEST currently has a staff of 11 full-time employees and a network of more than 500 professional freelance translators across the world. Our specific aim is to offer professional all-round linguistic services in all the official EU languages, directly to EU official and private institutions and to other EU-related clients. Since 1990, IDEST translated over 800,000 standard pages from and into all official EU languages in the field of EU and UN affairs at large, in particular for the EU institutions. Texts cover a wide range of topics from environment to fisheries, including RTD, trademarks, agriculture and audiovisual policy, not to mention enlargement, the Euro, employment and social affairs, intellectual property and justice and home affairs. IDEST is ISO-9001 and ISO-17100 (formerly EN-15038).
