Crazy was founded by Valeria Colturi, an ex cross-country Italian championship, in 1989. Her friendship with many athletes helped her to understand the need to create products tailored for those new sports born at the beginning of the '90s. The first champions challenged her to create these products and she was able to invent the first ski touring race suit and the first skyrunning clothing. From the experience of the race world she had an intuition. The solutions and the technologies used in this sector should have been adopted to create a new type of clothing appropriate for those people that want to go to the mountain in safety and speed, with performance oriented garments. The Fast&Light concept was born. This is why Crazy is the original: every single item has been designed around this concept when nothing similar was available on this market. From the beginning, the company pursues three main values: - Beauty: our actions are inspired by the beauty around us. We try to embed this beauty in all our products. - Strength: we aim at being strong as people and as a company. - Sharing: we share goals, efforts, satisfactions as a team internally, but also with all our partners.
