Thomas A. Kuhns, Jr. founded West Interior Services Inc. in 1973. He chose to focus on refinishing and restoration because he always excelled in and enjoyed working with furniture, but didn't want to compete with his family's upholstery business. The furniture and woodwork repair, restoration and refinishing service has served customers from as far away as historic Charleston, South Carolina, Saudi Arabia and even beneath the Atlantic Ocean.
