Founded in 1886 by a Danish Engineer, today in its fourth generation, Capuava Farm initiated its activities with Danish Immigrants manufacturing wooden furniture. They were accustomed to drink Aquavit but this drink did not exist in Brazil. For this reason, these immigrants started a sugar cane plantation so as to produce a distilled alcoholic drink. Thus began the production of Artesian Cachaça in the Piracicaba São Paulo region. With excellent soil and perfect climate for sugar cane, Capuava Farm found its vocation. Capuava always aims for quality, by determining the best seedling, modern technology and all factors that contribute with a greater yield and conservation of soil. This quality cachaça results from excellent raw material, the correct use of soil as well as modern planting techniques. Today Capuava Farm produces and distills the genuine Brazilian Cachaça with the same traditions and quality as in the past. All this with Social Responsibility, preserving one of the largest natural forests and water reserves in the region. After planting, cultivating and transforming raw material into finished goods, Capuava supplies cachaça of various organoleptic standards to companies in the premium drink segment of the market, throughout the world.
