Established in 2010, the Student of Bath Investment Club (SOBIC) is the leading investment society in Bath. Dedicated to connecting Bath students to the world's best financial institutions, our core objective is to provide our members with an engaging platform through which they can enter a career in finance. Through guest speaker presentations, networking sessions, and our established 12-year SOBIC alumni network, we guide students in strengthening their industry knowledge and own relations. The 22/23 committee has plans to have an increased focus on ensuring our members are inspired, prepared and motivated to apply for Insight, Internship, and Graduate opportunities, as well as gaining exposure to technical skills needed to thrive in the industry. Actively working with leaders in the finance industry, we provide members with the opportunity to maximise their potential and gain a competitive advantage. Previous members have gone on to secure highly competitive roles in Investment Banking, Sales and Trading, Asset Management, and other disciplines within the sector.
