Established in 1985, University of Alberta Chinese Students and Scholars Association (UA CSSA) is a non-profit, non-religious, and non-political organization registered under the University of Alberta Students’ Union. UA CSSA is now the largest Chinese organization in Alberta. Registered members include Chinese students and scholars as well as their family members across various faculties at the University of Alberta. UA CSSA is committed to enhance Chinese students and scholars’ academic and personal experiences at the University of Alberta as well as provide opportunities for students to adapt to their new community and culture. UA CSSA organizes many influential events throughout the year, including the Chinese National Day Gala, Chinese New Year Celebration, and The Bridge To Success Banquet and Conference.
