ASEAN Energy Exchange (AEX): Blockchain technology based cross-border electricity trading, payments and settlements in real time. AEX ecosystem consisting: SMART Grid and SMART Spinning Power Reserve supported by ASEAN-wide network of Renewable Energy operating under ASEAN Power Grid. In 2020, AEX signed payment facilitation contract for 1,700 MW portfolio in Laos as well as working on similar portfolios in Thailand and Cambodia and beyond to expand throughout ASEAN region.
