Lakewood Legal Innovation was formed in 2020 by Tamara Meyer after a diverse 30+ year corporate and legal career in which she served in senior leadership roles, including General Counsel, in both public and private companies. Tammy uniquely brings an experienced in-house perspective to her advisory work, with a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of in-house teams and their clients. She has built, restructured and led several best-in-class teams with a heavy focus on business partnering/acumen, optimizing resources, instilling “smart risk”/ “get to yes” principles and driving metrics discipline. She also understands the law firm service model from over a decade of law firm practice and from building and managing global outside counsel teams.
