The American Marketing Association chapter of California State University, Northridge is a student-led professional association. In the spirit of providing professional development regardless of a student’s background, Matador AMA opens its doors to marketing majors as well as non-marketing majors. Dedicated to educating students about the marketing industry, we provide students with opportunities to engage with professionals and give them access to various resources that will aid them in their journey to becoming a professional. We educate students about the full world of marketing, giving them a snapshot of what career opportunities in marketing will look like for their futures. It enhances students’ professional and social skills, promoting their self-confidence and building their professional credibility. Moreover, it engages students to network with marketing professionals, helping them forge relationships that they will value in the future.
