The Institute of Videography is the not for profit industry body, committed to promoting professionalism in Videography. Established in 1984, the IOV has continually worked to raise the standards within our profession, and to promote videography to business and private clients through awareness and education. Our membership consists of independent videographers and SMEs specialising in film and video production across the UK and beyond. Our members cover a wide range of productions including corporate & commercial, live and recorded music events and theatre productions as well as education, training and community activities. Many also provide streaming services, either from a single site for example for funerals and corporate launches, to multi-site conferencing demanded by many cost and environmentally conscious organisations. By nurturing industry relationships and working in partnership with our peers, we build and develop sustainable foundations which ultimately lead towards a sustainable future for everyone in this industry.
