For over 18 years I helped shape marketing and branding initiatives for leading global brands, including Amazon, iHeartMedia, Audi, Johnson & Johnson, and the NBA. Although I built a successful career as a Marketing Executive, I felt like I was constantly being pulled between two sides of myself. My ego self telling me doing, achieving, and succeeding were the way to obtain the freedom I craved, and my true self trying to wake me up and remind me that none of that was true. It felt like different characters inside of me trying to lead at the same time, and it was exhausting. It created internal imbalance and conflict, and I decided I had to make a change. In late 2019, I stepped away from my role as Head of Global events for Amazon Advertising and turned all of my focus inward. I moved very deeply and quickly through what I now realize was an internal rebalancing and awakening that returned me to my true self. It was like a factory reset for life, and what followed were the truest forms of balance and freedom you can experience. As a Teacher and Guide, I now spend my days helping other high-performers re-find internal balance, and in turn find the true freedom they’ve been searching for. Not every high-performer needs a drastic life change. Every journey is unique. But regardless of who we are or where we are in life, we all crave the internal balance and freedom that come with living as our true self.
