ASTML is a reputed and fast-growing education institute in Further and Higher education. Led by entrepreneurs committed to making a social impact through education, ASTML currently operates from its 3 campuses based out of Manchester and London, and also delivers some courses online. ASTML has a partnership for FE and HE, with a government owned college NESCOT -in Epsom Surrey- and has focussed on creating courses up to a University Degree level in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. The partnership has over 1000 students on its roll annually. The focus is on adult students who did not get an opportunity to get formal education and most of the students come from financially weaker sections of the society. ASTML has contributed significantly to the entrepreneurship amongst the students and makes regular contributions to the charitable causes. 40% of ASTML students are women and more than 90% come from ethnic minority backgrounds. Courses at ASTML campuses: • Level 3 courses in Business and Health and Social care, • Level 4 (HNC) in Business and Social and Community work, • Level 5 (HND) in Business and Social and Community work, • Proposed: BA (Hons) Business Entrepreneurship from spring / Summer 2020. In 2019, ASTML was selected as a finalist for “making a significant contribution to the society” at the Oldham Business awards. In 2020, ASTML was a finalist at Greater Manchester’s Asian Business Leaders Award for “National Growth”. In 2019 ASTML launched its STEM education program for the students between age groups 8 to 15 to fortify and entrench a “scientific culture” from the early ages encouraging children for problem-solving using multi-disciplinary skills which will be a key demand in their future careers.
