The Msgr. O’Dwyer Retreat House began its mission of serving the youth of the Archdiocese of Baltimore in September of 1963 as the CYO Retreat House. It was the dream of the retreat house founder, Msgr. Clare J. O’Dwyer, that this sacred place become “A Spiritual Powerhouse for Young People” of Baltimore and neighboring dioceses. After Msgr.O’Dwyer’s death, the CYO Retreat House was renamed the Msgr. Clare O’Dwyer Retreat House. For over fifty five years, we have continued the mission to serve the young church, as well as adults and all others who come to use the House.
