Space Value Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2022. There are sustainability initiatives everywhere we turn, and yet, sustainable finance and ESG frameworks and standards are yet to transform the very formulae used by investors and corporations when forecasting their growth, value, and returns. Our impact on space is still peripheral to our core models. If the very mathematics through which we design, create, and allocate value is to match a global strategic commitment by business to net zero, then the ‘Risk and Time Value’ of money model must finally start to account for money’s impact on space and our responsibility to control this most fundamental lever of influence. Beyond speeches, mission statements, and well-articulated frameworks, we must transform the very formulae used to project future value. We aim to build a network of business leaders, investors, asset managers, financial economists, regulators, bankers, exchange executives, academics, campaigners and supporters who are committed to Net Zero, are determined to build a sustainable future, and are ready to take on the challenges presented by our financial value framework and system.
