DWA Architects are a Perth based practice with a broad history of works across Western Australia. Genuine collaboration with clients and stakeholders is paramount to our design process, working through diverse design challenges and creating exciting outcomes, reflected in our extensive portfolio. Started in 1893 by EH Summerhayes, the practice has been working in Western Australia for more than a century. Previously known as Summerhayes Way & Associates, and latterly, Darryl Way & Associates, the firm now operates as DWA Architects. Our experience is broad based, from educational and justice, to commercial public/civic building projects in a range of locations throughout the state. This experience has included the full range of architectural services, and demonstrates our understanding and project management capabilities. Our educational works comprise a wide range of private and government facilities and each seek to invigorate the learning environments. We have completed a variety of work including: masterplans, feasibility studies, refurbishments, extensions, minor works, and complete new builds.
