Logistics & Automation Consulting srl (LAC srl) is a management and industrial consulting company founded on the initiative of an academic staff appointed at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. The foundation of the company in February 2012 represents the actual fulfillment of the efforts of transferring technology towards businesses lasting over a decade, which saw the founders of LAC constantly engaged on projects financed by local and multinational companies, having as its objective the transformation of sophisticated and scientific cutting edge methodologies in analysis and management tools that can be used in industrial fields. Our corporate mission was therefore born from this background: "we help the customer’s logistics, production and industrial automation processes reach a level of distinct excellence by transferring skills, methods, tools and technologies, derived from the most advanced scientific knowledge aimed at industrial applications" LAC addresses to manufacturers, logistics operators and technology providers. The areas of focus include the design and management of production systems, production planning, optimisation and supply chain management, the internal distribution and logistics network, up to the developing and implementation of automation solutions for production and logistics.
