WHO WE ARE Architectural Connections is a registered student organization at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) with the purpose of connecting students to the architectural industry. We foster connections between classmates, programs, alumni, educators, and industry professionals through various events. The 2017/2018 Club Executives consist of a diverse team of students from the Architectural Science degree program, Architectural & Building Technology in all specializing streams (Architecture, Building Science, Economics & Construction Operations), and the Interior Design program. Together we act as the stepping stone in giving students a voice to improve their education, organize events, generate a greater sense of unity in the architectural programs, and to create a legacy for future students. WHAT WE DO - Coordinate campus events such as: Industry Mixers, Internal and external lectures & design competitions - Benefit student life by giving the architectural students a voice in the BCIT Student Association - Host networking events for students to explore opportunities for future employment - Keep in contact with graduated members to help inform current members of industry trends & job placement opportunities - Connect students together and give representation for the architectural students as a whole
