Founded in 2001, Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy (J.U.i.C.E.) is a non-profit organization in the Rampart District of Los Angeles. J.U.i.C.E. has been changing the lives of inner city youth by hosting free weekly urban art programs. Every Friday at Salazar Park and every Saturday at MacArthur Park, J.U.i.C.E. has been providing a safe space and enabling young professionals to offer mentorship in the different forms of the hip-hop arts. J.U.i.C.E. provides a center for youths to develop a sense of community and provide a place for personal growth through the self-expression of the hip-hop arts. We help develop leadership and technical skills through a variety of art programs and encourage the creative expression through music, visual art, and dance by providing a authentic environment built on respect and dignity. We create unique opportunities for young artists to showcase work, network with peers and professionals and engage with their communities in a healthy and positive manner through the arts.
