A Space to Be with MS is a project to bring to life the possibility of people (primarily in Belgium) diagnosed with MS and other auto-immune conditions being powerfully connected to each other through sharing of experiences and tips, and supporting each other in living with their condition with the intention of finding and following paths to well-being. Further goals of the project include political action, awareness and publicity generation, fundraising (most likely for recognized organizations). The range of possible programs is as wide as our co-workers and partners’ imaginations! Understanding the possible limitations of the target group being essential to the mission, programs are put together with care to create accessible resources for as many people as possible. Initial, ongoing aspects (programs) of the project include a near-monthly podcast in which community members are invited to participate, yoga online and eventually in person, a MS and autoimmune awareness initiative, and a website intended to evolve and tie it all together.
