Providing support year round, with an intensive 8 week session for 8-10 businesses from across the Appalachian region, followed by individualized support. Our unique business development training, Building Soil and Soul, helps companies establish regenerative + inclusive decision making process, applied throughout all aspects of their scaling enterprise. Our nature based businesses gain access to intensive training, mission aligned networks of investors, mentors, peer-to-peer coaching; in-kind sponsorship; networking events; product and service development support. We attract and scale high-impact, seed-stage businesses in the following sectors: Farming Food Forest products (natural building) and non-timber forest products (ginseng, mushrooms, fruit & nut trees) Fiber/ Textiles Botanicals/Wellness Other innovative triple bottom-line businesses with special consideration for women and POC We are committed to Appalachia’s regenerative economy, sustaining good jobs and keeping thousands of farmers on the land, helping them connect to regenerative agriculture training.
