Walkabout Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission of restoring dignity, freedom and independence by providing wheelchairs and rehabilitation in the developing world and funding research to find a cure for paralysis. Since it was co-founded by siblings Luis and Carolina Gonzalez-Bunster in 2009, Walkabout Foundation has distributed over 10,000 wheelchairs in 20 countries, impacting the lives of 30,000 people, and has donated nearly £1 million to cutting-edge research.
