About Our History Arctic Cold Storage has a history dating back to 1945 when it began as a local distribution business serving bars, theaters, and concessions operators. Over the years, the company grew into a regional distribution business serving large national franchises such as A&W™, Dairy Queen™, Kentucky Fried Chicken™, Carousel Snack Bars, and Hardees™. Through the past 20 years, we have focused our energy on developing our cold storage business, and we are pleased to play an integral role in servicing the accounts of several fortune 500 companies. Although the company has grown and changed in many ways since 1945, our commitment and dedication to our customers and employees has remained a primary focus.
